Job Description

ARAs Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Engineer / Application Lead to design, build, and enhance scalable digital and data-driven applications. This role combines deep hands-on development with technical leadership, acting as an SME and primary point of contact for AEP-driven initiatives.

Role Summary

In this role, you will analyze business requirements, design and develop AEP-based solutions, and lead application delivery across teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and enhance applications using Adobe Experience Platform
• Act as SME and technical lead for AEP implementations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
• Lead and mentor development teams; review code and enforce best practices
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to cross-team technical strategy
• Perform application maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, agile practices, and quality standards
• Monitor project progress and support timely delivery across multiple teams

Must-Have Qualifications

• 38+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies
• Experience working with version control systems and collaborative tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and marketing automation tools
• Knowledge of data integration, APIs, and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise-scale application deployments
