Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- Serve as a mentor and trusted advisor to potential learners, guiding them in their career journeys.
- Provide personalized counseling to prospective students, helping them map their career paths and demonstrating how upGrad can be a catalyst for their professional growth.
- Meet weekly enrollment, revenue, and collection targets.
- Articulate the uniqueness and effectiveness of upGrads online learning model.
- Manage the complete sales closing lifecycle for assigned leads, which includes making phone calls, delivering product demonstrations, closing sales, and maintaining post-sales relationships.
- Keep a comprehensive database of all interactions with leads and provide regular updates.

- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in international sales, with a preference for EdTech sales.
- Strong understanding of the cultural nuances and buying behaviors of students from across the globe
- High-achieving sales performers with a documented track record of success.
- Active listeners and trustworthy individuals capable of building rapport with potential learners.
- A patient and empathetic approach to handling diverse situations.
- A disciplined mindset for funnel building, feedback tracking, task prioritization, and consistently exceeding targets and deadlines.
- A sales-oriented mindset to effectively communicate upGrads offerings and achieve revenue objectives.
- A passion for always delivering exceptional customer service.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.
Eligibility:
- A bachelors degree in any field; a degree in Business, Marketing, or Education is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the EdTech sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude toward achieving results.
Shift Timings:
- APAC: 7 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 6PM
- EMEA: 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM or 2 PM - 11PM
- US Region: 8 PM - 5 AM or 10 PM - 7 AM
- Please note: The above timings are subject to change based on business requirements
Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)
Working Days: 6 days a week (Certain Saturdays may be given as a week off, based on business feasibility)
