The Admissions Counsellor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, representing Sancta Maria International School with professionalism, warmth, and clarity. The role involves guiding families through the admissions journey, communicating the schools IB philosophy and academic offerings, and ensuring a seamless, transparent, and student-centred admissions process.

The Admissions Counsellor plays a key role in building strong relationships with families and supporting the schools growth in alignment with its mission and values.

• Serve as the primary contact for admission inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online queries).
• Conduct campus tours and information sessions, clearly articulating the schools vision, IB philosophy, and academic pathways.
• Build meaningful relationships with prospective families, understanding their needs and guiding them through decision-making.
• Maintain timely and professional follow-up communication with families throughout the admission process.

• Manage end-to-end admissions procedures including inquiry handling, documentation, assessments, interviews, and enrolment formalities.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of student records and application data.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to schedule assessments and interactions.
• Maintain updated admissions data, reports, and conversion metrics.

• Support admissions outreach initiatives, open houses, school events, and promotional activities.
• Represent the school at educational fairs, community engagements, and networking events where required.
• Contribute to admissions communication strategies aligned with the schools brand and positioning.

• Clearly communicate the benefits of an IB education, inquiry-based learning, and international-mindedness to prospective families.
• Support families in understanding curriculum pathways and student progression.
• Promote the schools holistic approach to academics, co-curricular activities, and student well-being.

• Work closely with school leadership, academic coordinators, and accounts teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new students.
• Provide periodic admissions reports, projections, and insights to leadership.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance parent experience.

• Bachelors degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (mandatory).
• Masters degree preferred.
• Training or exposure to IB or international school environments is an advantage.

• Minimum 35 years of experience in admissions, counselling, marketing, or client relationship management, preferably in an educational institution.
• Experience in an international or progressive school environment will be an added advantage.
