Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Admission Counselor with proven experience in selling software courses, specifically in domains like AI/ML and Data Science. The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective learners and driving enrollments through effective consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students on AI/ML, Data Science, and other software programs
- Understand learner needs and recommend suitable courses based on career goals
- Handle inbound and outbound leads via calls, emails, and virtual sessions
- Drive conversions by delivering compelling course pitches and resolving objections
- Consistently achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate lead data and follow-ups in CRM systems
- Stay updated on industry trends in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science
- Coordinate with marketing and academic teams to improve conversion rates
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in selling software/IT courses (mandatory)
- Prior experience selling AI/ML or Data Science programs is highly preferred
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner
- Target-driven mindset with a proven sales track record
Preferred Background:
- Experience in EdTech or training institutes
- Basic understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems
