Job Description

JD:

  1. Highly competent in My SQL / PostgreSQL database performance tuning, creation of right indexing strategy to meet data growth needs and performance monitoring and query optimization. – This is the primary skill.
  2. Duties include performance tuning, monitoring, software installs and upgrades, UNIX shell scripting, and physical and logical database design.
  3. Hands on experience in AWS RDS, Aurora DB. Troubleshooting, issue resolution on RDS using slow running queries, insights.
  4. Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the database.
  5. Monitor database uptime and performance
  6. Day-to-day support of multiple Production and non-production environments.
  7. Database Administration activities.
