Adaptive ERP EDI Engineer

JD-Minimum 5 years experience in QAD Adaptive EDI development 

Ability to design and implement EDI workflows for transactions such as Purchase Orders, Invoices, ASNs, and Shipping Notices. 

Configure and maintain QAD QXtend and EDI integration frameworks. 

Develop custom mappings for EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV). 

Build and manage integrations between QAD Adaptive ERP and external systems (suppliers, customers, logistics providers). 

Ensure secure and reliable data transmission using AS2, SFTP, or VANs. 

Validate and troubleshoot EDI communication protocols. 

Perform unit and integration testing for EDI transactions. 

Validate data integrity and compliance with trading partner specifications. 

Maintain test documentation and traceability. 

Monitor EDI transaction flows and resolve errors promptly. 

Provide Level 2/3 support for EDI-related issues. 

Maintain logs and audit trails for compliance. 

Document EDI processes, mappings, and partner requirements. 

Ensure compliance with industry standards and QAD security policies. 

Skills Required 

Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP). 

Experience with QAD Adaptive ERP and QXtend Integration Framework. 

Proficiency in mapping tools and scripting (Java, TypeScript, or similar). 

SQL and database knowledge for data validation. 

Familiarity with middleware tools and API-based integrations. 

Understanding of ERP data flows (Orders, Shipments, Invoices). 

Analytical problem-solving and attention to detail. 

Effective communication with trading partners and internal teams. 

Agile methodology experience.
