Ad sales Sr. Executive / AM

Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd., one of Indias leading media organizations, is looking for an experienced and result-driven professional to join its Advertising Sales team in Mumbai. The role focuses on driving print media advertising revenue, building strong client partnerships, and working closely with media agencies and direct advertisers, with exposure to FMCG and Pharma brands. The position is based on-site in Mumbai.

Prerequisites:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field. MBA/PGDM is preferred.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Print Media advertising sales, media sales, or corporate sales from a News Publishing Industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong network with media agencies, brands, and direct advertisers (FMCG and Pharma).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools and digital ad platforms is a plus.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across industries for advertising partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Develop and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and marketing objectives.
• Act as a trusted consultant by recommending advertising solutions tailored to client goals.
• Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and deliverables while ensuring profitability and compliance.
• Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
