About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure AD L2 Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for our Azure Active Directory environment, resolving complex incidents, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our identity and access management (IAM) infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure AD, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Range: 4 to 10 Years

Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of Azure AD concepts and best practices.

o Proficiency in managing users, groups, and roles in Azure AD.

o Experience with directory synchronization and federation.

o Knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).

o Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting.

o Understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve complex Azure AD incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for Azure AD issues, including authentication, authorization, and directory synchronization.
• Escalate unresolved Azure AD issues to L3 or engineering teams when required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Manage and maintain Azure AD users, groups, roles, and directory configurations.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Azure AD Connect and synchronization services.
• Implement and manage conditional access policies and enforce security restrictions.
• Administer and troubleshoot MFA, SSO configurations, and identity protocols.
• Manage and support Azure AD application registrations and enterprise applications.
• Administer and resolve issues related to Azure AD Identity Protection.
• Provide expert-level technical support to end-users and internal IT teams for Azure AD-related issues.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and technical guides.
• Participate in on-call support rotations for Azure AD operations.
• Use PowerShell to automate Azure AD administrative tasks and processes.
• Recommend improvements to Azure AD configurations, processes, and security posture.
• Stay updated with new Azure AD features, enhancements, and best practices.
• Contribute to Azure AD-related projects, implementation initiatives, and migrations.
• Support and enhance Azure AD security standards and compliance efforts.
