AVP Accounts Receivable (SAP) | CA Mandate

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP Accounts Receivable (AR) to lead the end-to-end revenue and receivables function. The role requires strong expertise in SAP (FI/AR module), revenue control, credit management, distributor receivables, and working capital optimization. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations including billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Drive credit control policies and ensure strong monitoring of distributor/dealer receivables.
• Optimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow cycles.
• Oversee customer reconciliations and dispute resolution processes.
• Ensure accuracy in revenue booking and compliance with accounting standards.

SAP (FI/AR) Management

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI/AR module.
• Manage AR configurations, credit limits, aging reports, and customer master controls.
• Drive SAP automation initiatives to improve receivable tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT for system improvements, enhancements, and integrations.
• Ensure audit readiness through strong SAP-based controls and documentation.

Financial Controls & Compliance

• Monitor internal controls related to revenue and receivables.
• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, audit requirements).
• Prepare AR MIS, aging analysis, collection dashboards, and management reports.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure revenue discipline.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor the AR team across locations.
• Work closely with CFO/Finance Head on working capital strategies.
• Support strategic decision-making with analytical insights on receivables and revenue trends.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
• Experience: 15+ years in Accounts Receivable / Revenue Management
• Strong experience in Food / FMCG / Retail industry / Hospitality
• Advanced knowledge of SAP FI/AR module
• Experience managing large distributor networks and high-volume transactions
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
