Nasdaq Technology is looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with a focus on software agreements to join our Fintech Accounts Receivable team. If you excel in contract analysis and invoicing, are self-motivated, pro-active, deadline oriented with excellent problem-solving skills then this is the place for you!

Your role and responsibilities:

You will facilitate the set-up of contract milestones and billing of software, customer delivery and travel expenses for FinTech’s business lines.  We are seeking a hands-on individual with shown experience in contract administration, invoicing and collections.  The position works with multi departments on a world-wide basis.  Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Furthermore, you will: 

Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Resolution of client invoicing issues.

Compliance with client systems.

Give to the timely and efficient monthly close tasks.

Provide evidence for SOX and Internal Audit Controls.

We expect you to have:

Demonstrated ability in contract administration, billing and collections.

Sophisticated proficiency in Excel is absolutely necessary. 

Strong analytical skills essential!

Strong attention to detail!

Strong oral and written communication skills in English with ability to optimally capture and convey information via e-mail or phone with people located in other non-local offices and in different time zones.

Experience with Workday, OpenAir / Certinia and Salesforce. 

Flexibility to extended hours required during peak business periods – financial close, audit periods and as the need arises by management.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor/Master in Commerce / Accounting or equivalent experience.

It would be great if you

  • Experience with Workday, OpenAir / Certinia and Salesforce
  • Contract negotiation background experience a plus
