Job Summary:

The Senior accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports,

and ensuring accurate and timely financial information for management. This role includes

monitoring the organizations financial performance, maintaining the general ledger, ensuring

compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting in financial audits. Also, will play a key

role in budgeting, financial forecasting, and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

o Manage invoicing and payments.

o Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and proper management of

customer accounts.

o Follow up on overdue payments and manage credit control processes.

2. GL & Month End Close:

o Maintain and update the general ledger with daily financial transactions.

o Ensure that all entries are recorded accurately and on time.

o Perform regular account reconciliations (e.g., bank accounts, receivables,

payables).

3. Tax Compliance:

o Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing.

o Reporting for VAT as required

4. Financial Reporting:

o Support the FP&A team to analyse financial statements (balance sheets,

income statements, and cash flow statements).

o Ensure all financial reporting is accurate and compliant with applicable laws

and regulations (GAAP/IFRS).

5. Audit and Compliance:

o Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

and financial reports.

o Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations.

o Identify areas of risk or inefficiency in financial processes and recommend

improvements.

6. Process Improvement:

o Evaluate and streamline financial accounting workflows to enhance efficiency

and accuracy.

o Proactively implement best practices in accounting procedures and technology.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and

operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience

Technical Skills:

o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Navision, SAP).

o Strong Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.

o Familiarity with financial regulations
