The Role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager who balances technical accounting expertise with the ability to mentor a team. You will lead a small team of junior accountants, ensuring that our financial commitments are met accurately and our reporting is insightful. If you are a Tally expert who enjoys building structured reports and guiding others toward excellence, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Supervise and mentor a small team of junior accountants, ensuring high productivity and accuracy in daily entries.
• AP Lifecycle Management: Over see the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process, including invoice verification, GST/TDS compliance, and timely disbursements.
• Financial Reporting: Design and generate comprehensive AP aging reports, vendor balance confirmations, and cash flow projections for senior management.
• Tally Management: Maintain the integrity of the books within Tally, ensuring all ledgers are reconciled and up to date.
• Vendor Strategy: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors through clear communication and streamlined payment cycles.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of solid experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Leadership Skills: Previous experience or a strong natural aptitude for managing and training junior staff.
• Software Proficiency: Power-user status in Tally and Advanced Excel. You should be comfortable building reports from scratch.
• Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and general statutory audit requirements.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Vadodara.
