Accounts Payable

We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive Finance (Accounts Payable) to manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and reconciliation activities. The role will support accurate financial reporting while ensuring timely and compliant payments.

Key Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in line with agreed commercial terms

Verify supporting documents, necessary approvals, and compliance requirements before processing payments

Record and post journal entries in the accounting system, ensuring accurate debit and credit entries in accordance with accounting principles

Manage accounts payable transactions, including payment processing and payment cycles

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for effective query resolution

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST and TDS regulations

Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and internal controls

Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of reports and ledger reviews

Contribute to strengthening Accounts Payable processes, controls, and efficiency initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 13 years of experience in Accounts Payable or finance operations
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in professional services, corporate, or shared services environments
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, or Oracle
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
