Job Description: Accounts Payable Intern

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Intern to join our Finance team in Hyderabad. This internship is ideal for someone who has a foundational understanding of accounting concepts and is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable operations and financial processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing and recording vendor invoices with accurate cost center allocation
  • Support the Accounts Payable team in day-to-day accounting activities
  • Help track and clear invoices within defined timelines
  • Assist in vendor and bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end activities such as preparing prepaid trackers and reconciliation schedules
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve basic finance-related queries
  • Help respond to vendor queries under supervision
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a B.Com / BBA / Finance-related degree
  • Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
