Accounts Payable – Domain Trainee – French - Remote Ro

Responsibilities

Responsible for successfully graduating the training plan attached to the position and the tasks;

Responsible for turning over responsibilities of other assigned persons when needed and asked for from the manager;

Responsible in signalizing any uncertainties which may appear and make improvement for the standard working procedures.

Responsible for knowing and respecting the standard working procedures.

Checking financial documents (invoices/bank statements/credit notes) received from the local desk, in the ERP system according to the current procedure;

Checking the supplier data and details in the ERP system;

Sending cases that need resolution to the contact persons agreed with the client in order for them to be processed;

Daily updating the activity reports;

Daily inflow - Solving cases opened by the suppliers through tickets and phone calls;

Reconciling the accounts of the vendors and reporting activities if needed;

Reconciling supplier bank statements if needed;;

Analyzing the debit and credit balances of suppliers if needed

Performing month end activities and reconciliations between group companies if needed;

Participating to weekly/monthly conferences with the client and Genpact India Team;

Complex activities negative balances; direct debits; vendor payments; prepayment; refunds; blocked invoices; Good Receipt/Invoice Receipt account investigation

Communicating and clarifying with suppliers the different payment issues that may appear;

Reading and learning the operating procedures, contributing to the development/improvement of the operating procedures, escalating of all unsolved/unclear issues to the team leader;

Performing controls according to the AP process based on the internal control policy;

Requesting rescan for unclear images or incomplete invoices;

Knowledge transfer to new employees;

Attending feedback sessions with the entire team;

Updating activity trackers;

Month close reporting and periodic dashboard reporting as well as ad hoc reporting;

Country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable particularly for country-to-country transition

In charge with payment proposal preparation and submission to customer

Ad-hoc reporting, based on managers request

Backlog clearance

AP ledger review

GRIR Ledger review

Write off proposals

Vendor master data clean up

Dispute management

Helpdesk queries

Payment proposal

Cash forecast

Minimum Qualifications

Very good knowledge of German Language, B2/C1

Commerce Graduate

Experience on AP process

Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

Accounting knowledge intermediate level;

Specific knowledge for the product delivered

Communication skill
