Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in SAP.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and trial balances.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Review of venture partner working and venture partner agreements
• Review GSTR 1, GSTR 3 B and GSTR 9 workings
• Review of 26AS reconciliation on quarterly basis

2. Financial Reporting and Budgeting:

• Prepare semi-annual and annual financial statements
• Prepare monthly MIS for management review.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.

3. Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and financial regulations.
• Assist in internal and statutory audits, addressing audit queries promptly.
• Assist in Income tax, GST and TDS scrutiny as may be required

4.Technology and Process Optimization:

• Ensure optimal utilization of SAP.
• Review and improve internal financial processes for better efficiency and control.

Ideal Candidate :

• Educational Background : Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience : Minimum 3-6 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting tools.
• Familiarity with taxation laws and compliance.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
