Job Description
The Accounts & Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings exceptional communication skills to the table. This role is accounts-heavy, with an exposure to business finance, requiring a balance of financial control and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting operations while partnering with leadership to drive financial planning, performance analysis, and business decision-making. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
What Comes in Handy
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 57 years of experience in core Accounting, with exposure to Business Finance.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or other ERP software (experience beyond Tally preferred).
- Strong hands-on exposure to end-to-end finance operations.
- Experience in operational finance along with financial reporting.
- Practical knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, and audit coordination.
- Experience working with Indian Accounting Standards / Accounting Standards.
- Ability to handle cross-functional finance responsibilities within a growing organisation.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Accounting & Financial Control
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Oversee audits (internal and external) and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintain robust financial controls and processes.
2. Audit & Review Support:
- Coordinate and provide necessary documents, schedules, and reconciliations during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit-related requirements
3. Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
- Conduct variance analysis and present actionable insights.
- Assist leadership with scenario planning and financial modelling.
4. Management Information System (MIS):
- Prepare detailed MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses for management review.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight deviations from targets.
- Provide actionable insights and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
