Job Description / Responsibilities

• Enter transactions and reconcile account balances
• Review Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet and make adjustment entries.
• Prepare the Income Tax returns, TDS returns, GST returns for the organization.
• To ensure legal compliances and look after income tax and GST related activities.
• Responsible for raising invoices to clients and taking regular follow ups.
• Responsible for approval and disbursement of the vendors invoices.
• Record keeping of accounts books, billing, and payments.
• Prepare payroll processing including salary calculation, reconciliation and payment file in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.
• Stay up to date on local, state and international tax laws.
• Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information to the management.
• Responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to the company's objectives for smooth functioning of day-to-day operations and accounting.
• Coordinating with lawyers/consultants on tax related issues.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Desired profile of the candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role (Preferably for a startup)
• Competent in Advance MS- Excel.
• Well versed with accounting software like Zoho Books, Tally etc.

Office location - Chrysler Tech Centre, IT Park, Dehradun

Job Type : Full-time

Day shift (11A.M 8P.M.)

Working days - Monday to Friday

Joining period - Immediate joiners are preferable

Salary: 500,000.00 - 12,00,000.00 per year
