Accounts Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage core accounting tasks including invoice generation, GST compliance, and maintaining accurate books of accounts. The ideal candidate is a fresher or early-career professional with working knowledge of Zoho Books and familiarity with the GST portal . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to grow within a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate Proforma Invoices (PIs) and tax invoices using Zoho Books.
• Track sales , maintain receivables data, and follow up for payment collections .
• Record and manage purchase bills and vendor payments.
• Monitor GST inputs and outputs and assist in monthly/quarterly GST filings .
• Maintain accurate books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and regular financial entries.
• Prepare basic financial reports like P&L, balance sheets , and tax summaries.
• Ensure all records (invoices, bills, receipts) are filed and organized for compliance.

Required Skills and Tools

• Working knowledge of Zoho Books or similar tools (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and book keeping .
• Familiarity with GST portal and return filing process (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Proficient in MS Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and numeric accuracy.
• Ability to manage follow-ups and coordinate with internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com, BBA, or equivalent degree in accounting/finance.
• Internship or up to 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Exposure to e-Invoicing , TDS, or compliance reporting is a plus.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.
