Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and MIS reporting to manage our financial records accurately and support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage GST compliance, TDS deductions, and basic taxation requirements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external audit processes
• Maintain fixed asset register and inventory reconciliation (especially stock of gold/diamonds)
• Coordinate with branches/showrooms for financial data accuracy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com from a recognized university
• 24 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience in retail/jewellery sector preferred)
• Expert-level knowledge in Bookkeeping, Reconciliation, and MIS Reporting
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or similar accounting software (mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
• Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• High attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Good communication skills in English and Malayalam
