Responsibilities


Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage accounting team members under his/her responsibility, and monitor related management aspects: such as evaluation, career development, training, coaching. The accounting team will cover accounting activities of car manufacturing plants.
Responsible for the End to End General Ledger/Close the Books/Reporting processes for the entities in scope.
Supervise and direct part of the accounting staff to consistently meet deadlines and oversee with month end, quarterly and year end close.
Support the Accounting Manager during internal and external audits.
Obtain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Serve as a technical expert for accounting issues and work with Offshore / local entities to determine appropriate account actions.
Provide customer service to both external/internal customers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to Europes policies and procedures, including internal controls, group accounting rules and corporate compliance.

Minimum Qualification
Chartered Accountant or Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Relevant experience (E2E Finance & Accounting processes).
Minimum years of experience as accounting supervisor/team leader experience.
Proven Knowledge & Practice of international accounting standard (IFRS) is a must with strong focus on inventory accounting & cost accounting.
Advanced level of MS Office knowledge (specifically MS Excel) and ERP.
Very good understanding of end-to-end Finance & Accounting processes.
Readiness to travel for up to 5% of time within Europe.
ACCA or DipIFRS will be considered as a plus.

Language
Fluent spoken and written English.
Spanish knowledge is an advantage.
