Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our day-to-day financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash receipts, accounts receivable and payable subledgers, as well as preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and budget reports.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in financial management, with experience in cash handling, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required, along with relevant professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cash receipts, including processing payments, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate records.
Maintain accounts receivable and payable subledgers, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular account reconciliations, including cash, credit card, and other asset and liability accounts.
Develop and maintain budget reports, including forecasts, projections, and variance analysis.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Train and guide lower-level staff on financial procedures, accounting methods, and software.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in an accounting or finance role.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
