Accounting Executive / Junior Accountant

I.EVR is the Indian subsidiary of EVR Motors, a global innovator in electric motor technology. We are building our finance function in India to support local operations, cross-border transactions, and compliance requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity for Chartered Accountant or Accounting Executive to gain exposure to both Indian and international finance practices in a growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Assist in preparation of MIS, financial reports, and consolidation with parent company.
• Perform account reconciliations (banks, intercompany, vendors, customers).

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory records and valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
• Coordinate with operations team for stock verification and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper costing of coils, components, and assemblies as per accounting standards.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, and internal auditors.
• Support preparation of filings with RoC, RBI, and other statutory bodies.
• Ensure timely compliance with Indian corporate, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Taxation

• Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• Maintain documentation for transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.

Financial Operations

• Vendor Payments: Process invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Employee Payments: Support payroll processing and issuance of salary slips.
• Customer Collections: Track receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and ensure timely collection.
• Accounts Receivable (A/R) Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
• Banking & Treasury: Prepare cash flow reports, support fund transfers, and manage ECB compliance.

ERP & Systems

• Work extensively with the Odoo ERP system for accounting, inventory, and invoicing.
• Support ERP implementation and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

Process & Controls

• Assist in setting up scalable finance processes for a growing subsidiary.
• Strengthen internal controls in accounting, payroll, vendor management, and collections.

Qualifications & Skills

• Chartered Accountant or B.Com/BBA/ M.Com
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to be hands-on.
• Good communication skills, able to work with cross-border teams (Israel HQ).
