Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Office Admin

Employment Type: Part-Time (4 Hours / Day)

Working Hours: EST Time Zone (10:00 AM 2:00 PM EST | 8:30 PM 12:30 AM IST)

Location: Remote (but only from Kolkata)

Salary: As per Industry Standards


Job Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Assistant / Office Admin to support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks, strong accounting fundamentals, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal employees. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working part-time during EST business hours.


What Youll Do


  • Coordinate with company employees and accurately post working hours in QuickBooks.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, coordinating with company employees to accurately record and post working hours.
  • Manage invoices, bills, and the end-to-end timesheet process.
  • Support and manage payroll processing on a regular cycle.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates.
  • Maintain banking records and perform regular reconciliations.
  • Assist with basic accounting reports and administrative tasks as required.


Required Skills & Experience


  • 35 years of experience in accounting, office administration, or a related role.
  • Prior hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory).
  • Background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience managing invoices, bills, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work part-time (4 hours/day) aligned with EST working hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.

  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote teams.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in a similar accounting or office administration role.
  • Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes (onboarding/offboarding).
