Accounting AI Transformation - Senior Associate / Lead (3+ PQE CA)

About the Role

Were looking for a Chartered Accountant with 35 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a Big4 or top-tier accounting background, to join our Accounting AI Transformation team. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of client delivery, domain expertise, and product innovation.

Youll bring hands-on experience in revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close and use it to supervise client engagements, guide junior CAs, and shape how our AI platform automates complex accounting workflows.

What Youll Do

• Lead delivery: Review and sign off on accounting outputs (JEs, reconciliations, close packs) prepared by junior accountants + AI.
• Specialize in revenue & close: Bring deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, deferred revenue, reconciliations, and period close workflows.
• Scope client work: Partner with delivery managers to define requirements for new clients and translate them into structured workflows.
• Design scalable processes: Establish best practices for close, reconciliations, and reporting that our AI platform can automate and replicate.
• Collaborate with product: Provide domain expertise to engineers and product managers, ensuring automation matches accounting realities.
• Quality & compliance: Build controls, checkpoints, and documentation to ensure audit-ready outputs for clients.
• Mentor juniors: Guide freshers and associates, helping them develop both technical and client-facing skills.

Who You Are

• CA with 35 years PQE, ideally Big4 (audit/advisory) or industry accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial close.
• Experience supervising teams and reviewing deliverables.
• Familiar with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to explore AI in finance transformation.
