This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing budgets, and conducting financial analysis. The role also requires liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely submission of tax filings and financial reports.

• Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparing financial statements
• Strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Proficient in accounting software and tools; familiarity with spreadsheets and financial management systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or equivalent qualification is a plus)
• Previous experience in the healthcare or veterinary domain is an advantage
