Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities may include managing budgets, preparing tax returns, processing payroll, and collaborating with other departments to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Tally, or other related tools
Experience with payroll management and tax preparation
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting activities
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CA are a plus
Experience with compliance and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is beneficial
