Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Mumbai. The Accountant will oversee and manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, prepare tax documents, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Other tasks include preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, analyzing financial trends, and providing insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
Experience with tax compliance, budget management, and auditing
Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
Prior experience in the accounting or finance sector; knowledge of industry practices in Mumbai is beneficial
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
