Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for our group of companies two in real estate and one in advertising & event management .
This role calls for strong hands-on expertise, structured thinking, and seamless coordination with external consultants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline across businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintainaccurate and up-to-date books of accounts for all group companies
- Record daily transactions, expenses, invoices, and receipts with precision
- Managebank entries, cash books, and reconciliations
- Overseevendor payments, client collections, and receivable ageing
GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and fileGST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) in a timely manner
- ManageTDS deductions, challans, and returns
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Liaise withChartered Accountants and tax consultants for filings and audits
Real Estate Accounting
- Monitorproject-wise income and expenditure
- Maintain records related toadvances, agreements, commissions, and rentals
- Support documentation and reporting required for real estate compliance
Advertising & Event Accounting
- Trackevent-wise budgets, costs, and profitability
- Manageclient invoicing, advances, and vendor settlements
- Preparecost sheets and post-event financial summaries
Reporting & Financial Controls
- Preparemonthly MIS reports for management review
- Assist inyear-end closing and audit processes
- Ensure systematic documentation and organised financial records
- Provide financial insights and support to management as required
Systems & Tools
- Proficiency inTally (Prime / ERP)
- Strong working knowledge ofMS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Familiarity withGST portals, Income Tax portals, and e-filing systems
Key Competencies
- Close attention to detail with a strong accuracy mindset
- Ability to managemultiple companies and priorities simultaneously
- Sound understanding ofGST, TDS, and compliance timelines
- Organised, proactive, and process-driven
