Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.

Financial Data Management:

• Record transactions (invoices, receipts, payments, etc.) using accounting software - Tally.
• Prepare and send quotations, proforma invoices, and generate tax invoices while adhering to regulations. Track and categorize expenses, maintaining all general account entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card activities for accuracy.
• Assist with GST data preparation and ensure compliance.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and out-of-stock situations using Tally and Excel.
• Oversee stock used for sampling and address discrepancies.
• Manage stock replenishment for efficient inventory flow.

Customer Support:

• Send professional payment reminders via email and WhatsApp
• Follow up with clients regarding payments
• Address and resolve payment discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience with bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
• Knowledge of financial software - Tally
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Bachelors/Master degree in Accounting
