Accountant

Accountant - JMRJ & Associates LLP

We are seeking an accountant to join our outsourcing team. The role will manage accounting and tax compliance for one or more clients, oversee Clients' end to end accounting needs. The role will be based in Kochi but managing Middle East Clients.

The role is an ideal start for Junior accountants, with clear conceptual understanding of double entry accounting and financial reporting. All other training will be provided on the job. Experience required is one year or less.

Salary for this role will be INR 15,000 per month.

Working hours are from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Liaising with clients and coordinating for necessary accounting information.

- Raising invoices, SOAs and issuing reconciliations as necessary.

- Bookkeeping and documentation

- Financial Reporting periodically including financial MIS and client specific reports

- Compliance under taxation

- Keeping track of client deliverables and timely delivery of work

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles

- Understanding about financial reporting, and taxation.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce.

- 1 year experience as an accountant, preferably in a practice firm or similar role.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will help you acquire skills needed to handle complex accounting roles, including multi-industry and multi-national exposure.
