Accountant

About Us:

Gleva is a beauty and makeup brand offering a range of affordable cosmetics and beauty tools from makeup stacks and brushes to eyeliners and accessories. The brand focuses on accessible everyday makeup essentials with a variety of products for different looks.As As we scale, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance and accuracy across all accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and compliances
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely data entry in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books,)
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for payment tracking and resolution
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• Maintain documentation for audits and liaise with auditors as needed
• Support inventory and cost accounting related to e-commerce, retail, and logistics
• Reconcile e-commerce platform payouts (Amazon, FirstCry, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
• 24 years of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in a D2C or e-commerce setup)
• Proficiency in Tally/MS Excel
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
