Accountant - Exports

We are a growing paper trading and export firm dealing with various paper grades supplied to domestic and international customers. Our operations involve mill sourcing, export shipments, and multi-currency transactions.

We are looking for a hands-on accountant who can independently manage the entire finance function and work closely with management.

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain complete books of accounts (Tally)
• Manage day-to-day accounting, ledgers, reconciliations
• Handle accounts receivable & payable
• Monitor customer payments, advances, and outstanding balances

Export & Trade Accounting

• Accounting for export invoices, packing lists, BLs, LC/TT payments
• Manage foreign currency transactions & bank reconciliations
• Track realization of export proceeds (FIRC, BRC, e-BRC)
• Coordinate with banks on remittances and export documentation

Taxation & Compliance

• GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations)
• TDS compliance and returns
• Support in audits, statutory filings, and year-end closures
• Coordinate with CA for income tax & GST matters

MIS & Reporting

• Monthly MIS reports (P&L, cash flow, ageing reports)
• Margin analysis per order / customer / shipment
• Cost tracking including logistics, samples, and freight

Coordination

• Work with operations, logistics, and sales teams
• Liaise with CAs, banks, freight forwarders when required

• Strong experience in trading or export-oriented companies
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, export accounting
• Comfortable handling multiple currencies & shipments
• Proficient in Tally, Excel (MIS & reconciliation level)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
