Role Summary

We are hiring a Senior Accountant who will take complete ownership of the accounting function. The role involves independently managing invoicing, GST and other statutory tax filings, and ensuring that all financial and accounting processes are carried out smoothly and on time. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with multiple departments and handling compliance with high accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end accounting operations
• Handle invoicing, bookkeeping, and expense management
• Independently manage GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance
• Handle other statutory tax filings and regulatory requirements
• Ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations and timely closures
• Prepare and review financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Work closely with sales, operations, HR, and management teams for financial coordination
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies when required
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• CA / CMA (Inter or Final) preferred
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience in a mid-to-large organization
• Strong hands-on experience in GST and statutory tax compliance
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability
• Good communication skills and team-working mindset
