Role: Account Manager Banking Domain

Role Summary

We are looking for a sales-driven Account Manager with 6+ years of experience in the Banking/BFSI domain, responsible for revenue growth, account expansion, and client acquisition, while managing strategic banking relationships.


Key Responsibilities (Sales Focused)

  • Own revenue targets for assigned banking accounts.
  • Drive account mining through upsell and cross-sell of services.
  • Identify and convert new opportunities within existing and new banking clients.
  • Build strong relationships with CXO, Business Heads, and IT leaders.
  • Lead presales activities opportunity qualification, solution positioning, RFP/RFI responses.
  • Collaborate with delivery and architecture teams to close deals and ensure successful onboarding.
  • Drive deal negotiations, commercials, and closures.
  • Track pipeline, forecasts, and closures using CRM tools.
  • Conduct QBRs and executive reviews to expand wallet share.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years in Account Management / Sales / Client Partner roles.
  • Strong Banking/BFSI domain knowledge (Retail, Corporate, Digital Banking).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling IT services / digital transformation solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to articulate technology value propositions (Cloud, APIs, Data, AI).
