About the Company


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts finalization, AP/AR, client communication, and team leadership, with hands-on knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the finalization of accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions invoice processing, payment runs, and receivables follow-ups.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for UK clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants; conduct performance reviews, training, and workload planning.
  • Ensure all financial processes comply with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Work closely with internal and client-side stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation where possible.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and service-level agreements.


Qualifications


  • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CA Inter/CMA preferred).
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Hands-on experience with UK accounting standards and VAT compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage UK client relationships effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle multiple clients/projects simultaneously.


Required Skills


  • UK client handling experience in an outsourcing or BPO environment.
  • Certification in Xero or UK VAT compliance.
  • Experience in implementing financial automation tools or workflow enhancements.
