Work Dynamics

Role Overview - The Account Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Samsung Electronics account, supporting the Divisional Director in delivering world-class service performance and innovation. This role combines strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and commercial accountability to drive continuous improvement, client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth across a large, complex real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities -

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and overall account lead for Samsung Electronics.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with C‑level executives and senior stakeholders.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business goals, real estate strategy, and organizational culture to anticipate needs and deliver proactive solutions.

  • Conduct regular strategic business reviews, presenting portfolio performance, market insights, and opportunities for value creation.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning account activities with the client’s evolving technology and workplace objectives.

Portfolio Operations Management

  • Oversee end‑to‑end operations across Samsung Electronics’ real estate portfolio, ensuring consistent service standards and coordination across all JLL service lines, including facilities management, projects, leasing, and strategic consulting.

  • Implement robust operational processes, quality standards, and performance metrics to achieve industry’s best practice.

  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability enhancement while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead and develop cross‑functional account teams, including facility managers, project managers, and support professionals.

  • Establish clear communication, performance expectations, and accountability across all team members.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment with client priorities.

  • Encourage professional growth, recognizing and rewarding performance achievements.

Financial and Performance Management

  • Manage contractual P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance optimization.

  • Monitor contract delivery against SLAs and KPIs; implement improvement plans where required.

  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports highlighting operational results, financial metrics, market trends, and strategic recommendations.

  • Support bid and growth initiatives to expand business scope with existing and new clients.

  • Ensure strong cost management across all service lines.

 

Required Qualifications -

Experience and Background

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or related client services roles, with strong account management expertise.

  • Proven success managing complex, multi‑site portfolios exceeding 1 million square feet.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage full P&L responsibility and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.

  • Experience leading large-scale accounts in technology, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Professional Skills

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging C‑suite stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, coupled with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Skilled at influencing decisions and driving collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field).

  • MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
