JOB PURPOSE:
Day-to-day operational responsibility for small/medium accounts in a segment or region.

JOB DUTIES:
Could include all or many of the following duties:
- Operation account responsibility.
- Submitting Sales / Demand and Long-Term Forecasts.
- Key Business Opportunity (KBO) Reporting.
- Implement Pricing Strategies.
- Resolve Receivable issues.
- Dealer/distributor development
- Dealer/distributor business planning. Assisting dealers in business planning including counselling dealers on facilities, tooling, systems and on effectiveness of meeting expected business results.
- Providing Info to Customers.
- Day to day contact with the Customers.
- Feeding back customers’ requirements to the business.
- Developing & Delivering the Business Plan.
- Identify and Deliver Business Development Opportunities.
- Identify and Pursue Business Development Opportunities.
- Developing and negotiating contracts.
- Responsibility for development pricing strategy & negotiating contract to maximise account profitability.
- Raise & agree a commercially viable specification for new business
- Develop & agree Demand accords.
- Maintain demand forecast accuracy.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
• Prior account Management or customer facing role experience (10+ years).
• Comprehensive Industry and Product Line knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of sales processes, ‘Class A’, ISO.
• In depth understanding of customers and developing sector expertise.
• Thorough knowledge of NPI processes.
• Project Management Competence.
• Customer Orientated.
• Process Orientated.
• Numerate.
• Confident & experienced communicator.
• People management skills.
• Action oriented.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering + MBA/management education
