Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Mining and Account Farming
  • Expand the portfolio by building pipeline and conversion
  • Understand the client ecosystem and decision-making process
  • Connect the dots across departments and build the overall business architecture knowledge over a period
  • Identify opportunities by mapping client needs with our expertise
  • Own the new RFPs/proposals in collaboration with BTS ecosystem
  • Price the proposal to ensure winnability
  • Profitability Management
  • Leverage grade / location levers to drive higher profitability
  • Manage overall revenue and employee mix in line with organizational margin targets
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and service.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Work closely with internal teams such as technical experts, marketing, and customer support to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to share best practices, strategies, and insights.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and progress in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline management.

Desired Qualification & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree / Masters Degree in Finance / Computer Science / Information Technology / Business Administration, with minimum 10 years of overall and 2 to 3 years of Account Management Experience
  • Proven experience in frontline sales within the technology services industry (IT, cloud, data, software, etc.)
  • Experience in Selling propositions to Site Leaders, Centre Heads, Functional Heads across both business & IT & proven ability to sell software services, application development, analytics & cloud services / solutions and sound understanding of computing, programming and software engineering
  • Technology Services account management experience
  • Ability to drive synergies and connect the dots functionally to spot opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and other sales tools.
  • Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
