About the role:

The Programmatic Specialist should be someone with a solid understanding of the programmatic buying landscape and fluent in cross-platform private marketplace-business. The person will be responsible for overseeing the strategies in place, the day-to-day execution and optimization of campaigns that generate consumer revenue across our brands, including purchases of new products, brand uplift, etc. Within this role, the person will work closely with the brand directors, with other internal teams, as well as with our platform technology partners.

The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for the digital media space and is an out-of-the-box thinker, who can translate media objectives and strategies into programmatic campaign recommendations and strategies across multiple platforms (video, display, social, native).

Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:                                                                           

  • Be the point of contact for your clients for Programmatic Buying

  • Fully understand client business objectives and ensure these are translated into meaningful Programmatic platform strategies

  • Attend and represent the team at regular external and internal client meetings, including status meetings, briefing sessions, campaign reviews, QBRs etc

  • Be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of your work

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and reconciliation of campaign spend / income for your clients to ensure suppliers are paid on time, and clients are invoiced on time

  • Ensure you are completing timesheets in an accurate and timely manner to enable the business to complete channel and client profitability / resource analysis

  • Manage the setup, optimization and reporting of Programmatic campaigns

  • Overseeing the planning, execution and on-going management of campaigns

  • Monitors daily delivery and performs regular optimization of all campaign elements based on agreed campaign KPIs

  • Test & Learn Approach: Reviewing performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for delivering performance efficiencies

  • Remain abreast of developments in Biddable Activation and broader digital space

  • Contribute towards new business RFPs and pitches as required

  • Understand latest developments in Programmatic and attending industry events                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Key Competencies / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Programmatic Biddable Planning and Buying

  • Good understanding of planning and buying of Programmatic campaigns across various strategies, channels and buying models

  • Practical expertise in planning, buying and campaign management on self-service biddable platforms: DV360, TheTradeDesk, CM360, IAS and/or DoubleVerify

  • Experience in leading and collaborating with others, internal and external

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise for self and others (junior team members)

  • Keen eye for detail and understanding of budget management

  • Self-Starter who demonstrates initiative

  • Business fluent in English, German would be a big plus, any other Swiss local language skills a bonus

  • Solid understanding of digital advertising products and ad serving technologies.

  • Working knowledge of the holistic digital landscape: video, display, social, programmatic and marketing analytics

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Solutions-oriented mindset with great attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
