Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting processes in a dynamic and growth-driven renewable energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally/ERP system
• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journals)
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly closing entries
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely clearance
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up with clients for payments
• Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers
• GST & Taxation Compliance
• Prepare monthly GST working and returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
• Assist in TDS deduction, payment, and filing of returns
• Support in income tax and other statutory filings
• MIS & Reporting
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets
• Generate reports for internal management review and audits
• Audit & Internal Controls
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal financial control policies and procedures
• Support documentation and audit readiness
• Other Tasks
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all transactions
• Assist in project-wise accounting and cost allocations
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for routine transactions

Key Requirements:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: 310 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing sector
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in a high-compliance and audit-intensive environment
• Familiarity with renewable energy project accounting and capital expenditure tracking
• Exposure to multi-location or project-based accounting

Compensation: As per industry standards, commensurate with experience

Joining: Immediate preferred / Within 30 days
