LayerTax is a boutique crypto and international tax advisory firm known for simplifying taxation in emerging areas like virtual assets, global equities, and regulatory filings. We're looking for a high-energy Virtual Assistant to work directly with the founder and help scale operations and client servicing.

Role Summary

Youll work with the founder, managing communication, coordination, client follow-ups, and lead the execution for ITR Filing, Income Tax Notice reply drafting, Legal opinion preparation, Cross-border Advisory and Tax Audits

Responsibilities

• Respond to client queries & leads via DMs and emails
• Schedule calls, meetings, and maintain minutes
• Provide pricing, collect documents, and follow up with clients
• Track tasks and escalate delays internally
• Accounting & Bookkeeping, GST, TDS & ITR Filing
• ROC Compliance, Statutory Audits & Company Law
• FEMA Advisory, RBI ODI Compliance, SEBI RIA and AIF Regulations
• Legal Advisory, Agreement drafting, Income Tax notice reply

Who You Are

• Strong work ethic, hustler mindset & ownership attitude
• Quick learner, proactive communicator, good at juggling tasks
• Strong background in tax/accounting and previous exp. of working with a CA
• Comfortable with WhatsApp, Notion, Google Sheets, basic CRM tools
• Long-term mindset: looking to grow with the firm, not a gig-hopper

Software Knowledge (Mandatory): Winman, MS Office
