Job Description
Position - Account Executive
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
Budget: 2.43.0 LPA
Location: On-site ExpoPlus Office (Vikhroli West)
Working Days: Monday to Alternate Saturday
Timings: 10 AM 7 PM (flexibility during peak campaign periods)
Role Overview:
As an Account Executive , you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities within the online marketing office. This role ensures accurate bookkeeping, smooth financial operations, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies. The account executive will work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to support budgeting, campaign cost tracking, vendor payments, and financial planning.
1. Financial Management & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate daily accounting records in Tally/ERP or relevant software.
Record al income, expenses, reimbursements, and client payments.
Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, UPI receipts, and online platforms.
2. Client Biling & Receivables
Prepare and issue invoices for marketing services, retainers, ads, and content projects.
Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients for overdue invoices.
Maintain payment schedules and ensure proper allocation of receipts.
3. Expense Management
Verify vendor invoices (print, production, ads, influencers, freelancers).
Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain vendor ledgers.
Track campaign budgets, ad spends (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.), and update team regularly.
4. Payrol & HR Support
Prepare monthly salary sheets, consultant payments, and incentives.
Calculate TDS, PF, ESIC (if applicable) and maintain compliance.
Handle staff reimbursements and petty cash.
5. Taxation & Compliance
Prepare GST workings and coordinate with the CA for monthly/quarterly filing.
Ensure TDS deductions on vendor payments are accurate.
Maintain compliance with government regulations.
6. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis of marketing campaigns.
Track profitability of clients, projects, and internal operations.
7. Coordination & Support
Work with the creative and media teams to track expenses for each project.
Coordinate with management on financial decisions, planning, and audits.
Provide financial insights to optimise operational eficiency.
What Were Looking For:
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Account Executive (preferably in an agency or online marketing environment).
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
Proficient in accounting software (Tally/Zoho), Excel, Google Sheets.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
Fresher or 12 years of accounting experience (agency experience preferred).
Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS & basic compliance.
Experience in client billing, vendor payments & ad spend tracking.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
