Role Description

Support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring precision in data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. Reporting to Finance Manager, this entry-level role is perfect for candidates who are keen to build their expertise in accounting while contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping:
• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform routine data entry tasks and update financial databases accurately.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Support the processing of invoices and payments.
• Track and reconcile both vendors invoices and client receipts to ensure timely and correct transactions.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Assist in preparing periodic financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling necessary documentation and records.
• Compliance & Audits:
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Provide support during internal and external audit processes by organizing financial documents and reports.
• Administrative Support:
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to financial queries.
• Maintain and update financial records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software andT ally as well as Microsoft Excel
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Experience in the construction or architectural industry is beneficial
