Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Developer Team Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of accessible web applications. The role requires strong hands-on development skills, deep knowledge of accessibility standards, and the ability to mentor and guide a team to deliver inclusive digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Accessibility Developers and drive best practices
• Design and develop accessible UI components for web applications
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 standards
• Implement and validate ARIA roles, states, and properties
• Review code for accessibility compliance and semantic correctness
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure accessible designs
• Work closely with QA teams to support accessibility testing and audits
• Guide developers in fixing accessibility defects
• Conduct accessibility reviews, training, and knowledge sessions
• Participate in client discussions and accessibility assessments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 48 years of experience in Frontend / Accessibility Development
• 1+ years of experience in a Team Lead role
• Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Expertise in WCAG guidelines
• Strong knowledge of ARIA
• Hands-on experience with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
• Experience building accessible components using React / Angular / Vue
• Good understanding of cross-browser and assistive technology behavior
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with accessibility automation tools (axe-core, Lighthouse)
• Mobile accessibility experience (iOS / Android)
• Accessibility certifications (IAAP CPACC / WAS)
• Experience working with design systems
