Academic Support & Administrative Assistant

Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Academic Support & Administrative Assistant who will assist college students in understanding and completing their academic assignments. The ideal candidate will help guide students, provide research support, clarify concepts, organize study materials, and ensure smooth communication and coordination across academic tasks. This role also includes general administrative responsibilities to support day-to-day operations.

Academic Support:

• Assist students in understanding their college assignment requirements.
• Provide guidance, explanations, and conceptual clarity to help students complete their work effectively.
• Support with research, formatting, structuring, and proofreading (without completing assignments on behalf of students).
• Prepare study materials, summaries, and reference notes to improve student learning.
• Help students plan, prioritize, and meet assignment deadlines.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain organized student files, assignment schedules, and progress records.
• Coordinate communication between students and academic advisors.
• Manage emails, documentation, and session scheduling.
• Support general office tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.

• Bachelors degree (any field; education or humanities preferred).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.

• Experience in tutoring, academic support, or administrative roles.
• Familiarity with college-level assignments and academic formats.
