About the Role

Professor of Computer Science

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor to contribute to our School of Computer Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses, and providing academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research:
• Formulate research questions, design experiments, analyze data, and publish findings in reputable conferences and journals.
• Secure research funding through grants and contracts.
• Cultivate collaborations with other researchers nationally and internationally.
2. Teaching and Mentorship:
• Develop and deliver engaging courses, designing syllabi, preparing lecture materials, and creating assessments.
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and research pursuits.
• Stay current with advancements in computer science and integrate new knowledge into teaching methods.
3. Academic Leadership and Service:
• Serve as a departmental leader or participate in departmental committees.
• Contribute to the growth and improvement of the computer science program.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior faculty members.
4. Public Engagement and Outreach:
• Communicate research findings to the broader public through talks, interviews, and articles.
• Participate in outreach activities to inspire interest in computer science among K-12 students and the general public.
