Role Overview

The Academic Director provides strategic academic leadership to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, curriculum delivery, and student outcomes in alignment with CBSE norms and NEP 2020. The role focuses on academic planning, faculty development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with CBSE standards and National Education Policy (NEP ) guidelines.
• Faculty Development: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff. Organize Professional Development (PD) workshops to keep teachers updated on latest pedagogical trends.
• Academic Quality Assurance: Monitor student performance data and implement remedial teaching strategies or academic enhancement programs for struggling learners.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the school adheres to all CBSE affiliation bye-laws, examination protocols, and statutory regulations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop annual academic calendars, timetables, and resource allocation plans to ensure a smooth learning environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the school management, parents, and the Board. Conduct parent orientation sessions to align expectations with academic goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Postgraduate degree with B.Ed / M.Ed mandatory (Ph.D. preferred).
• 1520+ years of experience in education, including senior academic leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in CBSE curriculum, affiliation processes, and inspections.
