Position Title: Academic Advisor - Doctorate of Education/Business Administration

Business Unit: WP International

Location: Marol, Mumbai

Salary Range: 25-35 LPA

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Academic Advising:

• Take a data driven approach towards monitoring student progress, conduct 1:1 & group counselling and identify any academic challenges.
• Connect students with appropriate resources and support services to ensure their success.
• Address and resolve academic queries and concerns raised by students or faculty members promptly and effectively, 1:1 Calls, via email or through the discussion board.
• Qualified in teaching Smart PLS, R Commander & other research and analysis tools necessary in a students program journey

2. Content Management:

• Oversee and manage content related to the Doctoral program, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Develop and manage learning materials such as syllabi, assignments, and rubrics.
• Conduct quality checks for assignments, projects and live sessions. Sample feedback provided by graders.

3. Curriculum and Instruction:

• Provide expert consultation on curriculum development and instructional design to ensure the program's continued relevance and effectiveness.

4. Live Sessions:

• Check quality of live sessions based on multiple quality parameters.
• Conduct engaging live sessions, workshops, and lectures on research methodologies, quantitative and qualitative research, and other relevant topics.

5. Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience for students.
• Review potential profiles and interview Dissertation support staff
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in online education.

Experience Requirements:

• PhD/DBA degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in academia, preferably in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in guiding M.Phil/PhD dissertations and conducting workshops/lectures on research methodologies.
• Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with a strong understanding of research design, data analysis, and academic writing.
• Expertise in research tools like R Commander, Smart PLS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using online learning platforms and educational technology tools.

Education and Certification:

• PhD/DBA in Management or Education and worked or has educational qualifications or professional experience in Management or Education sector
• Additional certifications or training in instructional design, academic advising, or related areas would be advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong research skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
