Job Description:

Synechron seeks an experienced Senior AbInitio Developer to lead the design, development, and support of large-scale, enterprise data integration solutions in regulated environments such as banking and financial services. The role involves creating high-performance ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, and supporting governance and compliance to enable data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AbInitio ETL workflows and graphs

- Optimize workflow performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform tuning

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions

- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure system scalability

- Monitor and support production workflows, resolving incidents promptly

- Document workflows, metadata, and technical procedures

- Assist with data migration, automation, and platform upgrades

- Stay updated on industry standards, AbInitio features, and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with AbInitio (GDE, Co>Operating System, Metadata Hub/EME)

- Strong expertise in workflow design, parallel processing, and performance tuning

- Solid SQL and data validation skills

- Experience supporting enterprise data pipelines in regulated industries

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and compliance standards (GDPR, PCI DSS)

- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and change management

- Preferred: Cloud platform experience, scripting skills (Python/Shell), data security knowledge
